Sunday Service: I Could Be Illegal. Standing with Our Immigrant Sisters and Brothers
At the 2010 Unitarian Universalist General Assembly, the delegates chose “Immigration as a Moral Issue” as our Congregational Study/Action Issue for the next four years. What does it mean to Stand on the Side of Love with our immigrant sisters and brothers? What is the spirituality of welcoming the stranger? What does the New Sanctuary Movement, a coalition of interfaith religious leaders and congregations responding to the suffering of our immigrant brothers and sisters, have to offer us? On Sunday, September 26 at 10:30am, [Directions] Rev. M. Lara Hoke will lead us in worship as we begin to think together about immigration as a moral issue. Please join us.
